About the Chamber

Mission Statement:

The New Richmond Area Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau, Incorporated advocates the interests of its members to promote economic and community development.

Member Benefits and Opportunities:

Referrals: The Chamber office receives over 7,500 telephone calls annually. We refer our member businesses to callers at every opportunity. Free. Members only.

Chamber Brochure Rack: We gladly display your business brochure/flyer in our brochure racks. Free. Members only.

Chamber Web Site: Member list: Businesses are listed once alphabetically and once by category. Free. Members only.

Chamber Web Site Business Links: We will link your business web site in the alphabetical list and once in the category list. There is a small fee for additional links. Members only.

Membership Directory: Member list: Businesses are listed once alphabetically and once by category. Free. Members only.

Newsletter: The Chamber newsletter features a monthly column celebrating member news and awards (free to members).

Newsletter Sponsorship: Sponsorship includes your business name and logo on the back cover as well as a free insert in the newsletter. Sponsorship fee $200.

Newsletter Inserts: You can promote your business, event or share special news with a newsletter insert. We will insert your 8 1/2 x 11 flyer in the Chamber newsletter (printing on both sides okay). $100 (non-members $200)

Ribbon Cutting/Open House: Spotlight your grand opening, extensive remodeling, or new business opening with a Ribbon Cutting and Open House. $50 Newsletter insert, printing fee, plus refreshments of your choice. Members only.

Membership List: We provide a printed membership list for free, to members only.

Membership Mailing Labels: The Chamber will supply you with membership mailing labels for your special event, promotion or announcement. $45. Members only.

Relocation and Visitor Kits: Over 400 relocation and visitor kits, with business member information, were distributed in 2008.

Gift Certificates: Chamber gift certificates purchased at the Chamber office make great gifts and prizes for employees, family and friends. Anyone can purchase a gift certificate, for any dollar amount, and certificates may be redeemed at Chamber member businesses. In 2008, gift certificate purchases were nearly $40,000 at the Chamber and that total was a direct benefit for Chamber members.
